Very interesting!! Apple is on the top of the list for App Downloads. This is why I target iPhone or iPad users when building apps. Thank you for the infographic!!
They said in the graphic that Android was closing the gap, with these stats being from 2011, Im sure the current numbers are way bigger
More than 57.66 million app downloads per day. People are really becoming addicted to mobile phones.
I find it amazing how in just a couple of years people’s behaviors have changed so much that a device like a smartphone has become so integrated in both our personal and professional lives.

I wonder who develops apps for the “lesser” used operating systems and why? I wonder if they are industry or even company specific apps.
Their has to be a market or mobile OSes die like Symbian. Will discuss Monday.

I would venture to guess the numbers are closer or have passed ios.
I was an iphone user for years but switched over because of the freedom.
I know a lot of friends who have done the same thing, including one who works for apple.
Though I’m sure the numbers have grown and Android is even closer in closing the gap, if it hasn’t already, this infographic is full of detailed numbers that provide great insight into the evolution of smartphone technology and where this technology is headed.

This is a great graphic. Mobile phones are becoming a staple for not only households, but for individuals.
I believe that this results from Android being available on many brand devices and iOS only on Apple products.
